All Are Welcome!

We welcome you to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, not only a place, but a people driven by God's love for all in showing hospitality to those who come to worship, as well as carrying out God's ministry in our community.

In today's hectic world it is easy to overlook the importance and life-giving value of faith, a relationship built on deep trust with God. St. John's promotes an environment where people can realize that we need spiritual activity. By caring for the members of our community of faith and beyond, we also help improve the places where we live.

Please come and join us or contact us by phone at 269-422-1449 or email on our Contact page as we continue to help make God's saving story come to life!

Worship

We gather together for worship Sundays at 10AM. We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday and welcome all baptized Christians to take part in the Lord's Supper while also inviting all people to receive a blessing. Our Communion meal includes bread (gluten-free wafers also available) and wine or grape juice.

Our service includes many parts of the liturgy passed down for generations in the Lutheran church, but shaped in a more modern language. While most of our music comes from the latest hymnal of the ELCA, the Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW), we also take advantage of the wide array of musical resources in the church including the Lutheran Book of Worship, This Far By Faith, With One Voice, Worship & Praise Songbook, Best of the Best and much more.

At St. John's we believe everyone has something to offer in worship and beyond. We invite you to share your talents with the church and community surrounding us!
